SURF LESSON LOCATION Our surf lessons take place at Ukumehame Park, which is about 15 minutes from Kaanapali Resort and 20 minutes from Wailea Resort. Click for detailed map. Sample Beginner lesson Your surfing adventures starts on the beach with getting you suited up with your correct sized booties, rashguards, and surfboards. Then we will go through a 10-15 minute water safety briefing, along with a demonstration on the best ways to paddle your surfboard, get into waves, how to stand up, and stay up! After paddling out together where the waves are breaking, your surf
instructor will be there to coach and guide you into the rides of your
life! We will work on correct wave etiquette, style, and technique. The
lesson will be 1 1/2 hours of fun and excitement!
